Instructor Lovejoy.

What a great way to honor the bond between you and your pet! This class is delivered in a simplistic and encouraging manner; great for those that have never painted as well as those who have. Lovejoy is a very gifted and positive instructor who will guide you through, not only the steps of painting your pet but also through the mental steps of self-acceptance as you do something you may have never done before. Trust; as Lovejoy walks you through both processes. Painting is like handwriting, everyone has their own style and with practice you will develop skills and a comfort level and is highly therapeutic and healing. Many people in these classes have painted one of their pets who had passed and have stated how much better they felt after honoring their loved one. You will paint from a photo, so please email 2 - 3 in-focus photographs of your pet at least 3 days prior to class (sooner is better). Class will be held in Lovejoy's studio. Location and directions given upon registration. Space is limited, enroll early.
