Boys and Girls Foundation- Barracks 16
The Boys and Girls Foundation works to identify, support or create programs, which provide preventive services or direct care to abused, neglected and at-risk youth in San Diego County. We are currently in our third year of Boys and Girls Go to Camp. A program we created to provide camp scholarships to kids who would not normally be able to afford to attend camp.

Jason & Casey are the guys who dream up the official logos for Major League and Minor League Baseball teams. They grew up here in San Diego, and have best friends since kindergarten. As kids, Jason & Casey were always collaborating and dreaming up creative ways to bring stories to life. Today they're bringing the same 'can-do' attitude and whimsical approach to storytelling to sports teams all across America.

Bravo School of Art - Barracks 19
In Bravo's studio classroom, students are encouraged to color outside the box and escape the daily grind by getting creative. Guided by one of our 20 instructors, choose from over 50 different hands-on art, craft and home decorating classes, workshops and summer camps for adults and children to explore creativity. Mosaic, Digital Photography, Collage, Mixed Media, Book Arts, Drawing, Painting, Watercolor, Acrylics, Oils, Weaving, Basketry, Jewelry, Printmaking and more. All skill levels are invited to attend. No previous art training is required. There is something for everyone in this safe, supportive and fun studio environment.

California State Parks is dedicated to protecting California’s most valuable natural and cultural resources, and creating opportunities of high quality outdoor recreation.

California Southern SBDC - Building 202
Established in 1989, California Southern Small Business Development Corporation is organized as a nonprofit, public benefit corporation. It is one of 11 funded loan guarantee programs in the state and is the largest in San Diego County. Its primary mission and focus is to assist small businesses who cannot qualify for a loan without a guarantee. The program places special emphasis on women and minority-owned businesses as well as businesses located in the enterprise zones.

Energy Coalition - Barracks 14
The Energy Coalition was founded in 1975 to mobilize, educate, inform and empower communities to change the way they use and think about water, energy and other resources. The Energy Coalition meets its goals by developing cooperative programs to reduce energy demand, championing new practices and behaviors in the areas of water and energy conservation and use, and developing and implementing educational initiatives.

Expressive Arts Institute - Building 201
The Expressive Arts Institute’s mission is to provide an educational experience of unparalleled quality to each student. Our programs provide the thorough academic grounding needed for professional success, with an emphasis on experiential learning and exploration through studio work, classes and workshops. Through shared art-making, students and faculty form a learning community deeply rooted in the body, senses and imagination. Students become disciplined in phenomenology: the practice of paying attention to what is present and authentic. The Institute provides a safe, challenging and nurturing atmosphere for personal and professional growth.

Guitars in the Classroom - Barracks 14
Guitars in the Classroom (GITC), is an innovative educational not-for-profit, based in San Diego, California and serving in 32 states. Our mission is to train, inspire and equip teachers to integrate music-making as a teaching strategy across all academic subject areas in Pk-12 classrooms. GITC provides content-based, artistic strategies and hands-on instruction to educators through group training and in-classroom coaching using the guitar, ukulele and American folk, roots and Latin musical traditions. The work engages every style and level of learner and boosts student participation and performance across the curriculum. Classroom singing and songwriting are at the core of our approach " bringing music to the heart of learning through the art of teaching.

Founded in 2007, Hire Heroes USA (Hire Heroes) is a national, nonprofit organization headquartered in Alpharetta, Ga. Hire Heroes is dedicated to creating job opportunities for US military veterans and their spouses through personalized employment training and corporate engagement. Hire Heroes has gained national-recognition for its comprehensive “recruitment to placement” continuum of veteran assistance and corporate engagement, resulting in one veteran hired every business day.

IDW Publishing - Barracks 2 & 3
Founded in 1999, IDW Publishing is an award-winning publisher of comic books, graphic novels and trade paperbacks, based in San Diego, California. Renowned for its diverse catalog of licensed and independent titles, IDW publishes some of the most successful and popular titles in the industry, including: Hasbro's The TRANSFORMERS, G.I. KIT's goals are to enrich the lives of all who participate and to increase understanding and acceptance of disabilities as a natural part of life. KMA Architecture - Barracks 17
KMA Architecture has helped to shape the San Diego area skyline into what it is today. We have been in business in San Diego since 1973, with several notable projects to our credit including the One America Plaza office tower, Parkloft Condominiums in the east village, Carlsbad Premium Outlets, and Shamu Stadium at Sea World. KMA also designed the new office buildings constructed at Liberty Station. There is a familiar feeling about having our office space in NTC at Liberty Station, since much of our recent work has been on military bases. We at KMA make use of a collaborative studio approach to the design of buildings and spaces, and we take pride in every single project of every type and size.

Monart School of Art- Building 176
The Monart method helps students train their eyes to recognize five elements of shape and how they fit together to make up any object. With Monart Drawing, your child will experience the fun of art instruction in a non-judgmental and non-competitive environment! Monart teaches students of all abilities that drawing is a teachable skill at which anyone can be successful! Students will learn how to use various mediums such as markers, watercolor, oil pastels, colored pencils and more.

Reading Legacies’ mission is dedicated to empowering children and youth as valued family and community members through intergenerational shared-reading experiences. We place high priority on the goal of reaching out to children and youth who are at-risk of not having a solid educational foundation for success in school and life. Our strategy is to surround children and youth with supportive family members and exemplary community role models who will regularly participate in this shared-reading experience with them. To that end, we have established two programs reaching into areas where at-risk children, youth, and families can be positively impacted with our curriculum and processes.

The San Diego Brain Injury Foundation has been serving individuals with brain injuries and their families since 1983. The mission of the Foundation is to improve the quality of life for brain injury survivors and their families. Services include Howard House, a residential care facility in Escondido for survivors; a help-line that offers information and referrals to survivors, family and professionals; a newsletter; outreach to local hospitals to staff and families of newly diagnosed individuals with brain injury; free monthly support groups for survivors and family members.

San Diego Coastkeeper - Building 202
San Diego Coastkeeper protects the region’s bays, beaches, watersheds and ocean for the people and wildlife that depend on them. We balance community outreach, education, and advocacy to promote stewardship of clean water and a healthy coastal ecosystem.

San Diego Habitat Conservany - Barracks 14
San Diego Habitat Conservancy’s mission is to acquire, manage and protect land in perpetuity that supports sensitive habitats and species, and to educate and inspire people and communities as stewards and advocates of their natural environment. SDHC is one of only a few non-profit habitat managers working with developers, municipalities, and agencies throughout the region to strike a critical balance between development and the protection of our valuable habitat. SDHC currently manages over 400 acres of open space and ensures that the preserves are ecologically viable with quality habitat that adds value to regional conservation efforts.

The San Diego Museum Council is a coalition of San Diego County museums working cooperatively to increase awareness, connect, provide services, and advocate for the diverse museums within its membership. We strive to be a sustainable, prominent, and influential organization that represents San Diego County’s museum community. Currently, the Council has 42 members ranging from the Oceanside Museum of Art in the north to the Tijuana Estuary in the south; the Coronado Museum of History to the west and the Water Conservation Garden in the East.

San Diego Writers, Ink, nurtures writers and fosters a literary community by Serving as a hub for the literary community, Promoting literature, Providing artistic development for writers at all levels, and Facilitating artistic collaboration.

The Jenna Druck Center - Building 201
The Foundation has developed two programs, Young Women’s Leadership and Families Helping Families. These programs were established to serve two different groups, but they both bring hope and inspiration to those whose lives they touch.

Young Women’s Leadership was established to honor Jenna’s accomplishments as a leader by providing leadership training and opportunities to upcoming young women.

Families Helping Families was created to serve people in their journey through grief. Families Helping Families is unique in its approach, focusing on a recognition and respect for the belief that grief is individual, and there is no correct answer or ready solution for overcoming grief.

The programs of The Jenna Druck Center have touched and inspired thousands – either providing encouragement and support to families in their darkest and most difficult hours, or encouraging young women to fulfill their dreams.
