Classes and workshops at NTC Promenade offer a wide variety of opportunities for growth, from practicing a new form of dance or martial arts to taking watercolor workshops. Bravo School of Art - Barracks 19
In Bravo's studio classroom, students are encouraged to color outside the box and escape the daily grind by getting creative. Guided by one of our 20 instructors, choose from over 50 different hands-on art, craft and home decorating classes, workshops and summer camps for adults and children to explore creativity. Mosaic, Digital Photography, Collage, Mixed Media, Book Arts, Drawing, Painting, Watercolor, Acrylics, Oils, Weaving, Basketry, Jewelry, Printmaking and more. All skill levels are invited to attend. No previous art training is required. There is something for everyone in this safe, supportive and fun studio environment.

FX Dojo- Barracks 19
FX Dojo is a center for digital art providing affordable tools and knowledge to the San Diego community. New methods of learning have evolved alongside changing technology and FX Dojo is a place to explore new realms of artistic education. As head instructor, Otto Lai offers unique group teaching methods catering to all levels and ages. He has been teaching computer graphics in San Diego for over 6 years and enjoys sharing his experiences. FX Dojo offers instruction in programs that are 'Open Source Softwares' – meaning the source code is public domain, making them free to download, install and use.

John Harvard Academy- Building 201
Established in the San Diego community since 2003, and under the strong leadership of Mr. Andre Tran, a Harvard-trained educator, the Academy’s mission is to provide a quality, affordable after-school supplemental program for students in the community in grades Kindergarten through 12, with the objectives of helping students succeed in High School and preparing them to enter the best colleges.

Mathnasium- Building 176
Mathnasium is an after-school and summer math learning center dedicated to helping students to master math skills they are still weak at, develop a "sense" for numbers, and provide them with a positive and enriching experience around this difficult subject that sends them off to school with a new-found confidence in their ability. National Comedy Theater- Building 176
The National Comedy Theatre is San Diego's acclaimed improv comedy show and longest running show in the history of the city.  At our Improv Training Center at NTC we offer students the opportunity to study improvised comedy with members of the professional cast.  We offer adult classes for all levels of experience as well as classes for kids and teens.

Monart School of Art- Building 176
Monart is a drawing method that was developed by Mona Brookes, author of "Drawing with Children." The Monart method helps students train their eyes to recognize five elements of shape and how they fit together to make up any object. With Monart Drawing, your child will experience the fun of art instruction in a non-judgmental and non-competitive environment! Monart teaches students of all abilities that drawing is a teachable skill at which anyone can be successful! Students will learn how to use various mediums such as markers, watercolor, oil pastels, colored pencils and more. Each week a fact sheet on the subject drawn will accompany a completed drawing. Learning to draw using the Monart drawing method will help increase your child’s self-confidence and improve their ability to perform well in other academic areas.

Step into the OTL Learning Lab+Gallery for a photography adventure. All ages can join us for workshops. We have adult classes featuring iphoneography or DSLR workshops that teach you how to take your DSLR camera off auto. Get your teen excited about filmmaking with our summer institute or keep your little one engaged with photography summer camps. Become super mom with Go Pro, Iphoneography, and Video Workshops for the perfect birthday party or girl scout patch programs for your troop. We've got fun for all ages: Kids, Teens & Adults. We'll have you thinking Outside the Lens in no time!

PAARTS - Performing Arts & Athletic Restorative Training Specialists- Building 175
Performing Arts & Athletic Restorative Training Specialists (PAARTS) is a multifaceted wellness studio designed to meet the many needs of performing artists and active individuals. PAARTS provides a professional and caring environment backed by 10 years of experience in the fields of health, wellness, and injury prevention.

Pachis, an Art Studio for Kids- Building 201
Pachis, an art studio for kids offers after school art classes based on an original curriculum, that help children develop a better sense of self and the world around them through art. Pachis encourages children to think outside the "art box" and introduces them to new ways to make and experience art.

Art camp is offered summer, spring, winter and Thanksgiving school breaks and select holidays. Pachis also hosts art workshops, birthday parties, school field trips, Girl and Boy Scout Troops and private groups.

Pinot's Palette- Building 201
Pinot's Palette is your Venue in San Diego where you can "Paint. Drink. Have Fun." At our studio and wine bar, anyone can be an artist and have fun being creative - no art experience required! In just a short time you can create a colorful painting while sipping on your favorite wine or beer.


Pilates by the Bay- Building 176

Pilates by the Bay is a fitness and wellness center for all. Pilates is the perfect workout for every fitness level. Pilates builds strength without adding bulk and enables participants to achieve a long, lean, streamlined physique. The workout promotes flexibility, agility, heightens body awareness and coordination. Pilates by the Bay is owned and operated by Aulani, a Stott certified instructor. Classes offered daily.

Recreational Music Center- Building 176
RMC takes an innovative approach to music learning through motivational group settings and popular music choices. If strict traditional lessons just don’t seem like the right fit for you or your child, we’re here to help you make your kind of music. We have special classes for toddlers, children, teens, adults and seniors in our state of the art studio – complete with high-end pianos, keyboards, Fender Stratocastor electric guitars, Roland HD Drum Kits, steel strums, djembe, recording equipment and more. Visit us during open studio hours any Friday from 6:30-8:30pm, from September through June.

San Diego Writers, Ink - Barracks 16
San Diego Writers, Ink (SDWI) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization offering classes, groups, workshops, readings and other literary events at The Ink Spot and other locations throughout San Diego County. San Diego Writers, Ink, nurtures writers and fosters a literary community by Serving as a hub for the literary community, Promoting literature, Providing artistic development for writers at all levels, and Facilitating artistic collaboration.

The Hot Spot- Barracks 14
The Hot Spot Pottery Painting, Candle Making & More is a creative studio where people of all ages can come create their own candle or pottery masterpiece.   Everything necessary is provided, including a knowledgeable, friendly staff, good music, items like stencils, stamps, idea books and to make this experience fun and easy for anyone!  Fund-raising opportunities are available to non-profit organizations such as schools, churches and community centers.  All products are non-toxic and washable.

Theatre Arts School of San Diego- Building 175
The THEATRE ARTS SCHOOL of SAN DIEGO offers theatre classes ranging from music/movement and creative play classes for pre-school age children to advanced acting and musical theatre classes for pre-teens and teens. Special workshops are also offered, featuring visiting and local theatre professionals whom have worked on Broadway and on stages around the world. Classes are led by Courtney Corey, from the original Los Angeles and Chicago companies of WICKED, as well as both the 1st and 2nd National Broadway tours of RENT. Courtney has traveled all over the world, exploring arts and culture. She has lived in Japan, and spent the summer of 2011 teaching music to children in Shenzhen, China. Having taught privately, and at universities and high schools throughout San Diego County for over a decade, Courtney is pleased to offer a new spectrum of theatre arts classes to students at the THEATRE ARTS SCHOOL of SAN DIEGO.
