Luce Auditorium Study Underway

Luce Interior - ExistingOn January 31, the NTC Foundation convened 24 representatives from San Diego film festivals and dance companies to launch a final study to create a first-class Performing Arts and Cinema Center at NTC in the former Luce Auditorium. Consultant Tom Hall from AlbertHall & Associates is leading efforts to assess the financial viability of such a venue through a 3-month Operating Model Study that will determine who would use the facility, how much revenue it would generate and how much it would cost to operate. This study follows the successful Needs and Use Assessment conducted by Hall that determined how a multi-stage/screen venue could meet the needs of film and dance in San Diego. Results of the current study will be complete in early Spring and we look forward to sharing results with our donors and the community. Results of the Luce Needs and Use Assessment and Preliminary Designs are at https://www.ntclibertystation.com/press-archives.php.

Where is the Love?

The power of the personal referral is an awe-inspiring thing. I’ll bet that you can’t remember the last commercial you heard on television or radio but you can’t forget that great recommendation from a friend or colleague.Luce Court at Night

In this month dedicated to lovers, we’d like to ask you, our loyal readers, to show your love for NTC Venues by recommending us to at least three people who might be looking for a studio, a great outdoor space or just the best place for their next meeting or event.

Many years ago there was a commercial for Breck Shampoo - "and she told two friends, and they told two friends, and they told two friends . . .” The idea was that happy customers would share their experiences with friends, who in turn would pass it on.

Now we’d just love it if you would tell your friends about NTC Venues. We’d like to capitalize on your credibility as a friend who would share the love of a good find with those friends, family, colleagues, associates or just acquaintances. You can do this by simply forwarding this newsletter to someone or send them a link to our website (www.ntcvenues.com). Either way, please include a personal note letting them know what a great place the NTC Venues are.

That would be the best Valentine that we could get this month!

If there are any questions that we can answer for either you or your friend, please feel free to contact me, Cris Canning, at (619) 573-9316 or [email protected].
