Purchase a Rosebush Tribute for Your Loved One this Mother’s Day

Honor your loved one this Mother’s Day with a gift that recognizes unshakable love, commitment, trust and perseverance.

The NTC Foundation offers you a special opportunity to dedicate a beautiful Rosebush in the Sybil Stockdale Rose Garden at NTC Promenade in the heart of the new arts and cultural district at Liberty Station…a destination that itself is blooming into a San Diego landmark.

200 Rose Garden

A commemorative plaque with your personal message will be implanted adjacent to your designated rosebush.  This is a limited opportunity.  Your donation of $500 to the NTC Foundation will be used to help preserve the historic buildings at the former Naval Training Center and their new mission as a cultural center.

To assure your tribute is placed in this special garden by Mother’s Day, please order your rosebush by April 16 by going to www.ntcpromenade.org and clicking on “Donate” to purchase your rosebush and inscribe your recognition plaque.  Contact Stacy Goodman at the NTC Foundation at (619) 573-9307 with any questions, to purchase over the phone or to schedule a tour of NTC Promenade and the Sybil Stockdale Rose Garden.

Rosebushes can still be purchased after the Mother’s Day deadline for other special occasions, such as anniversaries and birthdays. Orders take 10-15 days to process. Thank you for your support!

Your Best Friend for Planning a Celebration

Whether you are planning a wedding reception, birthday, anniversary party, dance recital or Cheryl Penaskovicmusical performance, you have a friend with your best interests at heart!

Event Sales Manager, Cheryl Penaskovic, has been great at helping people plan celebrations for almost two years here at The Venues of NTC Promenade. Her expertise in helping clients plan for their special day is legendary. Not limited to just social functions, Cheryl is also the main point of contact for the worlds of Arts, Culture and Performing Arts, including the wonderful people and groups who use Dance Place. Not to stop there, Cheryl is also a great aid to NTC Resident Groups who need to plan functions in our venues.

Cheryl is originally from Londonderry, a small town near Manchester, New Hampshire. While attending the University of New Hampshire, Cheryl studied in Australia for one semester. She graduated with a degree in Marketing/Entrepreneurship and then decided to head to San Diego where she became the Sales Team Lead at CBeyond, a telecommunications company, before joining NTC Foundation in 2008.

When she’s not working with her many clients to plan the perfect event, Cheryl can be found at concerts, hiking, running (she hopes to complete a half-marathon this year), in spin class, or watching the Red Sox. Her new year’s resolution for this year is to learn to cook so look out Rachel Ray!

Cheryl loves being someone her clients can rely on. She enjoys seeing their vision come to life and the creativity it lets her draw on. One of her most exciting 2010 events will be Kids Fest the first weekend of May. This inaugural event should draw thousands of people to NTC Promenade.

With a personal motto of “Any referral is a good referral,” we hope you’ll remember Cheryl when you or someone you know begins planning that next social or cultural event. You can reach her directly at (619) 573-9306 or at [email protected].
