Fall in Love with Art at Friday Night Liberty. Meet artists, see performances and get creative with hands-on art activities for free! Make unique valentines at Expressive Arts Institute, which are then sent at random to another FNL visitor. See new exhibitions from numerous artists including San Diego Watercolor Society and artists in Barracks 14, 15, 16 and 19. Fall in love with the perfect piece of artwork for your home, unique jewelry for your sweetheart or some gourmet chocolate for yourself! New Year! New You! Sign up for Classes at NTC at Liberty Station

If you or your kids want to try something new, or improve on your current talents, NTC is home to a multitude of classes to peak your creative interests! Whether you want to get moving with dance classes, work on your memoir, learn photography, play music or express yourself through art- you can do it at NTC. See a list of current classes. February is Free Museum Month in San Diego!

The San Diego Museum Council presents the 25th Annual Museum Month, sponsored by Macy’s! Participants can enjoy 44 Museums for half-price. This includes two NTC museums: California Women’s Museum’s exhibit “Beautiful. Brillian and Brave – In Celebration of Black Women” and Visions Art Museum: Contemporary Quilt + Textiles, which is featuring three exhibits: “Coast to Coast – California Fibers New Image Artists,” “Intersections: Recent Work of Barbara Lee Smith,” and “Jazz – Canyon Quilters of San Diego.” Passes can be picked up at a Macy’s Store nearest you. White Box Live Arts Announces Live Arts Fest Line Up

San Diego’s hottest performing arts space- White Box Live Arts - will host its 2nd annual Live Arts Fest starting April 15 through April 27. Produced by San Diego Dance Theater, audiences can experience 10 evenings of dance, puppetry, singing and stories and more. Performances include The Collector a hybrid puppetry theater show, modern dance from numerous groups and Latin Night- A Medley of Latin Dance Artists. Artist Studio Space Available

NTC has three newly renovated artist studio spaces available – 1 each in Barracks 15, 16 and 19. Each studio is approximately 300 sq ft facing north or east. Pacific Southwest Wildlife Arts, is proud to present the California Open Wildlife Art Festival. The exhibition and competition attracts top carvers, wildlife artists and art lovers from all over the United States, Canada, Russia and Japan.This year is the 41st Anniversary of the California Open Wildlife Art Festival!

Sunday, February 23 My Girlfriends Closet Shopping Event
Donated clothing will be set up to resemble a high-end clothing boutique. Items are carefully hung and displayed by size and category on rounders and racks, or neatly folded and displayed on tables. Our goal is to create an inviting setting where prequalified young women can shop with pride. When the event opens, the “shoppers” sign in and receive two large handle bags that they can fill to the brim with items of their choosing. All items are free.
The mission of My Girlfriends Closet is to provide quality, gently used clothing, shoes and accessories free to economically disadvantaged teenage girls, in an atmosphere that enables them to shop with pride.

Thursday, February 27 San Diego Veteran’s Job Fair
Meet with 36 exhibitors, learn about job placement programs and USAA’s local Wealth Management team is presenting a seminar prior to the career fair at 10:00 AM. The seminar is titled "Practical Advice for All Stages of Retirement Planning." All veterans are welcome to attend this session that is intended to provide information for all veterans and spouses to use as they consider their future retirement.

Sunday, February 9 A Taste of Art: Chocolate!
An evening of art, chocolate, and wine!
With a presentation on the "History of Chocolate," presented by Artist Maryann Luera and Ana Ibarra. Light appetizers and chocolate tea tasting from Point Loma Tea will be available.Following the presentation, we will move to the La Onda Arte Latino Gallery (Barracks 19) for a "Wine and Chocolate Tasting."
